misuzu kaneko memorial museum

Misuzu Kaneko” was born in Senzaki Village, Otsu County (present-day Senzaki, Nagato City) in 1903.
Misuzu Kaneko appeared like a comet in the late Taisho period (1912-1926) and was called a visionary poet of children’s songs.
The sea and mountains, which must have nurtured the penetrating tenderness that overflows from all of her works, are also a part of Misuzu’s life.
Nagato City has a casual but important atmosphere.
While feeling such a generous and rich natural climate, you can enjoy your favorite work of Misuzu Kaneko with your heart.
